Link and Unlink

Linking in Daylite

There are a few different ways you can link objects within Daylite.

• Working from the List view of a Contact, All or My Opportunity, All or My Projects etc., click the ellipsis (...) at the top of the Activity pane.
• Select the paperclip Link To... option
• Within the popup window, search for a specific link point by name, or search for a Daylite object to display all items for that object.

• Or you can drag and drop (drag contact onto the target object)

  
  

• Or, when creating or modifying an object, add the object you wish to link to the respective field (If you wish to link a project, click "Add Project", for contacts, click "Add Person" etc.)

  

  
  

For advanced company linking options, navigate to Daylite > Settings > Companies and select the options you'd like to link automatically.

Unlinking in Daylite

If you have linked two objects and would like to unlink them, perform the following steps:

Daylite on the Mac

2. Select the object.
4. Click Edit.
6. Select the token of the linked object you wish to unlink.
8. Press delete.
10. Click Done. This will unlink the object from the main object you had selected.

Daylite for iPhone/iPad

2. Select the object.
4. Tap Edit.
6. Select the – token to the left of the linked object you wish to unlink.
8. Click Done. This will unlink the object from the main object you had selected.
